About Me

My name is Mamsi Nkosi, an upcoming journalist based in Pretoria, originally from a small township in Johannesburg- Germiston South. I moved to Pretoria because of school as I am studying Journalism at Tshwane University of Technology 

I believe that I was led by my curiosity, eager and passion to study and do journalism as I am someone who always wished to tell the other side of the story that is left unsaid and hidden. I want people to know WHY, WHO, WHAT HAPPENED, WHERE and HOW DID IT HAPPEN? it was these questions that made me go looking for stories.

as my trail of innovation continues in Pretoria with a strong, bold scent that is also driven by my academic curiosity and my desire to get into the journalism industry, I want to explore and see more than what is basic.

challenges will always be there and I believe that one should see them as an opportunity to learn and improve that is why I enjoy them the most. I have learned that no matter what skins you try on whether they fir or not, the things that got under your skin in the first place are those you will always come back to.

TSHWANE METRO POLICE ARREST SUSPECTS FOR POSSESSION OF STOLEN VEHICLES.

The Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) have recovered two stolen vehicles in Mabopane. According to the Tshwane Metro Police Communication Unit, The first vehicle recovered is a white Toyota Etios which was reported hijacked in Rustenburg at the intersection of Molefe Makinta Highway and Peter Magano Road in Mabopane and a suspect was arrested. The second vehicle, a maroon Polo Vivo, was recovered next to a tavern in Peter Magano Road in Mabopane and two suspects on the spot.

CHARITY ORGANIZATION TAKING CARE OF THE COMMUNITY.

The Northern Pretoria Development Scheme (NPDS) was established at 381 Eefuees street, Pretoria North as a joint church and community service initiative during 1993 as the concerned citizens of Pretoria North in cooperation with churches identified the need amongst the community.

NPDS was also established to assist the people in the community with social, economic, and spiritual development. Several families and individuals have been dependent on NPDS for many years.

STEVE BIKO HOSPITAL ON FIRE.

The Gauteng health department issued a media statement on Monday, 30 May 2022 to confirm the fire that broke out at Steve Biko Academic (SBAH). ‘’The fire broke out around 01:20 am at the Wendy house as a temporary storage area for COVID-19 medical waste and in-transit corpse are’’ said Kwara Kekana (Gauteng department of health spokesperson)

According to the media statement the fire affected temporary structures at the facility was successfully put out by the hospital team using fire extinguis
